World Tobacco Original (WTO) is a Russian hookah tobacco manufacturer that uses aged cigar tobacco leaves as its base. The cigar leaf undergoes fermentation for at least 6 years; the flavor and aroma of the leaf are extracted as a "sauce" used to treat the tobacco base. Raw materials come from plantations and tobacco holdings in Nicaragua, Guatemala, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Peru and other countries.
