About the manufacturer — Genel

Genel (full name Genel Smoke) is a hookah tobacco brand; the country of production is Russia. Accounts of its origin disagree: some describe production starting in Europe (Latvia) before entering the Russian market, others mention only facilities near Saint Petersburg and in Karelia; the founding year is also given differently (2018 or 2019), so an exact date could not be established. The brand has three strength lines: "Gold Edition" (light, Virginia Gold leaf), "Platinum Edition" (medium, Virginia Gold + Burley), and "Black Edition" (strong, Burley with higher nicotine content). It is packaged in 100 g plastic tubs.
