The Fasil trademark, according to Turkish registries, belongs to Serbetli Gida ve Ambalaj Sanayi Ticaret Limited Sirketi — the same manufacturer behind the Serbetli brand; Fasil is produced as a separate line of the same holding. The tobacco base is light Golden Virginia leaf, and the brand is noticeably stronger than Serbetli. It was originally created for the Kazakhstan market, later spreading to Russia, Ukraine and other countries.
