The site is open in five languages, and the rules around tobacco differ from country to country. Here is what we do and don't do, by jurisdiction. This is not legal advice — if the requirements where you are are stricter, write to us.
Article 16 of Federal Law No. 15-FZ bans advertising of tobacco, tobacco products and consumption devices, as well as promoting their sale. So the catalogue is kept as a reference: no prices, no purchase links, no paid placement and no evaluative wording in descriptions. Ratings reflect visitors' opinions on taste rather than encouraging a purchase. Access is for 18+ only.
Directive 2014/40/EU restricts the promotion of tobacco products, including through information society services. Personal data is processed under the GDPR: analytics runs only after consent, consent can be withdrawn, and an account with its history is deleted on request.
Tobacco products are regulated by the FDA and requirements vary by state. The federal minimum purchase age is 21. We neither sell nor ship products, so we operate as an information resource.
The UAE, Türkiye, Japan and China each have their own limits on promotion and on smoking indoors. We follow one rule everywhere: reference data, no calls to action, 18+ only.
When a venue enables guest cards, the venue remains the data controller and we act as a processor under contract. Visit history goes only to the venue the card belongs to and is deleted at the guest's request.
